Hi!

My name is Joni Ward. Thank you for showing interest in my upcoming adventure and in my fundraising efforts. 

In October 2012, I will be heading to Bolivia for 7 months, on a volunteer placement as Marketing & Fair Trade Specialist. My role is to support the initiative of exporting fair trade Bolivian coffee to the Canadian market. I will be spending 5 months in La Paz with FONCRESOL, a micro-finance institution, and two months with their client COAINE, a cooperative of coffee farmers located in the area of Caranavi.

I am excited and grateful for this opportunity to put my skills to use for such a meaningful cause, immerse myself in Bolivian culture and embrace what will inevitably be an incredible and challenging experience. I hope that my work will contribute towards positive, sustainable change in Bolivia.
